My Dyslexia
Having the skill to write, spell, and punctuate has never been my strong suit. Growing up as a young child I was always nurtured to be creative and artistic which came naturally to me but I could never quite grasp written language. I now know that it's a learning disabilty with a name: DYSLEXIA.
I write from the heart and I make my best effort to get the words on the page properly but as you'll see I don't always succeed. I ask you to enjoy what I write and post but to be understanding and kind. Brian

I've always loved botanicals, and recently have spent some time indulging in that obsession. I will be teaching an embroidery class that includes ribbon and pearl cotton embroidery on black linen. The following photo is only part of the lovely floral wreath you will make in my class at The Back Door on October 27th from 10-4. Contact The Back Door (317-882-2120) to register for the $50.00 class, which includes everything you need. I only ask that you bring your own embroidery scissors, and willingness to get crazy and creative! Upon completion, this panel could be used as a quilt block, a pillow top, etc. Bring a sack lunch and your reading glasses and/or special lamps if you need them.
The Back Door is located at 2503 Fairview Pl W, Greenwood, IN 46142.
