My Dyslexia
Having the skill to write, spell, and punctuate has never been my strong suit. Growing up as a young child I was always nurtured to be creative and artistic which came naturally to me but I could never quite grasp written language. I now know that it's a learning disabilty with a name: DYSLEXIA.
I write from the heart and I make my best effort to get the words on the page properly but as you'll see I don't always succeed. I ask you to enjoy what I write and post but to be understanding and kind. Brian

But I'm looking forward to where it's going from here I hope you're along for the ride. This quilt is in the new book Crazy Quilted Memories
by Brian Haggard
The inspiration for this quilt are the many travels I've had through my life starting at age 19 with a European trip and ending with going to Europe with my family for the first time at Thanksgiving two years ago. All of the pictures you see around the border are of my travels and I used antique pictures and postcards in the center for the places that I had wanted to travel but had not been yet, I am happy to say I have now been to all the places on this particular quilt.
If at any time you have any questions that you would like to know about what inspired the work on these quilts don't hesitate to ask I'm always glad to share the stories of my life and my art.
